THOR products are available in a digital file format for downloading, laser cutting and DIY assembly. Files are downloaded as a zip folder containing a set of DXF files of each component and is accompanied by pdf instructions making processing of your laser cutting order simple and straight forward.
The Thor Index Welding Table is much more than just a plain fabricating work surface. The table has 16 mm holes, indexed exactly 50 mm apart. The combination of this perforated table with the Thor Fixture Tooling, Insert Clamps as well as Locating Fasteners opens up a myriad of clamping and holding options.
The 16 mm holes provide locating possibilities anywhere on the work surface and down the sides of the Series-100 and Series-150 tables. By spacing these tools and clamps at specific positions one can develop a temporary jig which can be used to clamp a variety of components in place ready to be welded.
This way of clamping will minimise weld distortion and will ensure that multiple parts will all be assembled to be exactly the same, saving you time and providing
a better quality product.
Your table selection will be based on the size of your most common assemblies as your table can always be enlarged by adding a Thor Extension Wing or by bolting more than one table together using the special Thor Locating Fasteners.
